This sketch was edited in Adobe illustrator to create my own style, I worked with multiple layers and tools to create this outerwear style. Our assignment was to create a style based on a forecasted trend in the Fashionsnoops platform for FW21 season.
In addition to creating a style we had to choose the color palette we wanted to go with that was also forecasted for FW21. Irk and Merlot were the two colors I chose for my outerwear.
In photoshop and illustrator I had to add my colorways to my jacket in two different ways. Then to be uploaded in the plm system.
This is the second colorway of my jacket that I chose to produce.
I also had to add the list of materials it would take to make my jacket from my choice of sewing thread to which zipper was going to be used in the jacket. This would also list the bill of materials that is not present in this image.
Another step in making my techpack was to add the how to measure. The template that matches my outerwear silhouette was used for the manufacturer to see how to best measure this style.
Creating the care instruction label was another important factor , done by researching the best care for the textiles used in the jacket.
